Budleigh turned up at Willand expecting a very tough game and were without injured top scorer Simon Rose. The match was played at a fast pace and the whole team were superb. Willand took the lead on the half hour mark .The back five of Brad Evans, Bradshaw, Pallett, Everest and Owen were quality throughout and Budleigh got their title with just three minutes remaining when Neil Pointing scored with a fine 30 yard lob to spark wild celebrations. Man of the match was a hard decision with Kirk Owen and Tony Pallett standing out, but 17 year old keeper Brad Evans was quality all game.
