Budleigh made one change to the side that beat Westexe last match, with debutant Peter Grover starting in place of Rich Higham. From the start Budleigh played good attacking football but the final ball was just not good enough early on. But once Grover beat two men and fired in on 35 minutes the result never looked in doubt.

Rose and Evans both had good chances to double the lead but no further goals were added until the 80th minute when Simon Rose fine lob sealed the win. Pallett and Bradshaw had solid games at the back and Kirk Owen looks a fine right back, but Grover took man of the match.
