MATCH REPORT
DEVON & EXETER LEAGUE SENIOR ONE
SATURDAY 17 DECEMBER 2007
| BUDLEIGH SALTERTON (3) 5 | v |
EXMOUTH AMATEURS (0) 0 |
This was Budleigh's tenth game unbeaten and they flew out of the blocks and took the lead after only four minutes when David Evans fired home. Simon Rose extended the lead after eight minutes when his close range header went in. Then Aaron Poulton ended the game as a contest on the quarter hour mark as he scored from a tight angle. To be fair the Ammies young side refused to let the score get out of hand
The second half started with Ammies on the back foot and Evans got his second with five minutes gone. Evans then nearly got his hat-trick only for Hazell to twice save well. Rose then got his second and his tenth of the season. 17 year old keeper Bradley Evans looked solid on his debut. Star man D Evans.
