This season's last game at Greenway Lane ended in a 1 - 1 draw with University. The management had taken the chance to give some of the reserve team lads a run out, and all five played well. It is encouraging for the future.
All in all I thought the visitors were unlucky not to go home with all the points. They certainly piled on a lot of pressure in the second half without really creating many good chances.

We've had a message from the Chairman at Witney United to congratulate both teams on their remarkable season. I have sent a reply to thank him and his team for their continued interest in our fortunes.
Reserves lose for only the second time in the league, going down 1 - 0 at home to Alphington. We created so many chances but it was one of those games where the ball would not go in.

First team go down for the second time in th eleague this season, losing 3 - 2 at Teignmouth. We had taken the opportunity to give some reserve team youngsters a run out, to get a feel for the higher level.

RESERVES ARE CHAMPIONS OF SENIOR ONE - a 1 - 1 draw at Willand is enough to make sure of the title. Well done to all.
Reserves are at Willand tonight with a 7.30pm kick off, needing just one point to secure the league title. Should be a cracking game if you can get along there.
Last night Newton Abbot dropped 2 points with a draw at University. Exmouth and Plymstock both won, but Newton Abbot remain favourites to secure second place.
